Portal Overview
The Apps Portal lets you use Anunna through your web browser. It is built on Open OnDemand, an open-source web portal that connects you to HPC resources without the command line: you can submit jobs, start interactive desktop and application sessions, manage files, and access GUI applications.

The portal is available at https://apps.anunna.wur.nl/.
The dashboard
The portal opens on a dashboard with three main parts:
- a navigation bar (see below);
- a Message of the Day with announcements and general communication from the HPC team;
- Featured Applications — shortcuts to commonly used apps.
Navigation bar
The navigation bar gives access to:
- All Applications: every GUI application available on Anunna.
- Jobs: an interactive list of your jobs (see Jobs Queue Overview).
- Courses: active education courses running on the HPC.
- My Interactive Sessions: your past and currently active sessions.
- Help: links and knowledge articles relevant to Anunna.
Additional applications may be available depending on your permissions and project allocations; you can find them all under All Applications.

Featured applications
Commonly used applications include:
- File Browser — manage your files in the browser
- Shell Access — a terminal in the browser
- RStudio — the RStudio IDE for R and Python
- Jupyter — Jupyter notebooks
- Linux desktop — a full graphical desktop
For the general pattern of starting and connecting to any GUI application, see Running GUI Applications.
