Access policy is still a work in progress. In principle, all staff and students of the five main partners will have access to the cluster. Access needs to be granted actively (by creation of an account on the cluster by FB-IT reagdring non WUR accounts). Use of resources is limited by the scheduler. Depending on availability of queues ('partitions') granted to a user, priority to the system's resources is regulated.
<!-- TODO: this page is a skeleton. The formal terms of use and the current per-group access contacts need authoritative input from FB-IT. The previous page held a Breed4Food-era access-contact roster which was almost certainly out of date and has been removed. Search for "TODO" below. -->

This page covers who may use Anunna, how access is granted, and the terms that apply to using the cluster.

Eligibility

Anunna is open to all WUR research groups, and to other organisations and companies running collaborative projects with WUR (see Mission and Governance). Access is not automatic: an account must be created for you by FB-IT before you can log in.

Requesting access

To request an account, contact the HPC team through Support.

Use of resources

Compute resources are shared and are allocated by the SLURM scheduler. How much priority your jobs get, and which partitions you can submit to, depends on the Quality of Service and partitions granted to your account — see Scheduler Overview (Slurm). Reasonable, considerate use is expected of everyone; see the Fair Use Policy.

Costs

Use of Anunna is not free of charge. Compute and storage are billed according to the published tariffs — see Tariffs.
