Anunna serves a diverse user base, ranging from individual researchers and students to research groups, institutes, companies and startups.
Our user base
Anunna is available to a broad range of users who need high-performance computing and AI resources to support research, education or innovation.
Our users can include:
- WUR researchers and research groups
- Teachers whose courses require specific computational resources
- WUR students using HPC resources for education or research
- Research institutes and other organisations whether or not they collaborate with WUR
- Companies and startups working on research and innovation projects, either independently or in collaboration with WUR
- Other external partners with a need for high-performance computing or AI resources
The way users work with Anunna can differ depending on their needs, the nature of their activities and the level of support required.
Anunna has an active user community that helps users share knowledge and experience and provides valuable input into the development and operation of the cluster.
Interaction modes with our clients
Anunna interacts with its users and clients through several channels. These allow us to provide support, exchange knowledge, gather feedback and involve users in the further development of the service.
User community
WUR users can join the "Anunna Users" Microsoft Teams team to ask questions, share tips, exchange experiences and help each other. Use the join code 2xo7wv2 ("Join a team with a code").
This is primarily a peer-to-peer community.
Assistance on short questions and incidents
If you encounter technical problems while working with Anunna that require assistance from the HPC team, please file a ticket through How to Get Help.
User representation in Roadmap sessions & decision making
Representatives of the user community are involved in discussions about the development and future direction of Anunna. This provides a structured way for user needs and perspectives to be considered in decision-making.

User feedback and consultation
We actively seek input from users on the development and direction of Anunna. When working on prioritised user stories, we seek user feedback to ensure that our efforts deliver the most value to the research community.
Knowledge sharing
Anunna users are encouraged to share knowledge, experiences and good practices. This helps build expertise within the community and supports new users in making effective use of the cluster.
The Anunna wiki is an important part of this knowledge-sharing approach, and users are encouraged to contribute to and improve the available documentation.
Training
Three times a year, several workshops are provided for both novice and experienced researchers and students. See the Workshops section of the wiki for more information.
We actively collaborate with scientists and other experts in developing and delivering these trainings for our community.
