Mission and Governance
Mission & Governance
Mission
Anunna is the High Performance Computing (HPC) facility of Wageningen University & Research (WUR). Its mission is to provide reliable, accessible and high-performance computing and AI resources that enable data- and compute-intensive research and innovation.
Anunna supports the WUR research community as well as external partners working together with WUR. By providing access to advanced computing infrastructure and HPC expertise, Anunna helps researchers and partners address computationally demanding challenges and accelerate research and innovation.
Governance & Ownership
Anunna is one of WUR's Advanced Research Facilities. These facilities provide specialised research infrastructure and expertise to both internal and external partners, including research institutions, companies and startups.
The formal owner of the Anunna cluster is WUR's Shared Research Facilities (SRF). SRF is responsible for making the facility available to its users and ensuring that the infrastructure supports WUR's research and innovation objectives.
The day-to-day management, operation and maintenance of Anunna is carried out by a dedicated team of HPC experts within WUR's IT department. This team is responsible for the technical operation of the cluster, its availability, maintenance and user support. See Roadmap for information on how we do that.
The Product Owner provides direction for the development of Anunna as a service, including its roadmap, services and alignment with user needs and WUR's research strategy.
More information about WUR's Advanced Research Facilities and Shared Research Facilities can be found on the WUR website.
Our Users
Anunna serves a diverse community of users. This includes:
- Researchers from WUR research groups
